This Privacy Policy describes how HoneIt, Inc. (“we” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information about you and the choices you have regarding this information. This Privacy Policy applies to the information we collect when you visit our website and when you use our other online products or services (collectively, the “Services”).
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by updating the last revised date above. In some cases, we may provide you with additional notice, such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending an email. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services to stay informed about our information practices and how you can help protect your privacy.
Users Outside the United States
We primarily store and process data on servers located in the United States. If you reside outside the U.S., your personal data may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different and potentially less protective data privacy laws. By using the Services, you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information in the U.S. in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
For EEA and UK residents, we implement appropriate safeguards to comply with cross-border data transfer requirements under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). In addition to Standard Contractual Clauses, we implement supplementary technical and organizational safeguards, including data minimization, encryption, and access controls, following EDPB guidance.

Information You Provide
We collect information you provide directly to us when using the Services. For example, we collect information when you sign up for an account, complete a quiz, questionnaire or other form, participate in any interactive features of the Services (such as rating another user, recording an interview snippet or conducting an interview), apply for a job, interact with us via third party social media sites, provide us feedback, request customer support or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your name, mailing address, telephone number, email address, social network name, profile picture, résumé and related professional, educational and other background information and any other information you choose to provide (including during any recording you create through the Services).
By voluntarily providing us with Personal Data, you are consenting to our use of it in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you provide Personal Data to the Services, you acknowledge and agree that such Personal Data may be transferred from your current location to the offices and servers of Honeit and the authorized third parties referred to herein, located in the United States. If your Personal Data is transferred from the European Economic Area to Honeit located in the United States, please see the Users Outside of the U.S.A. section above for our Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
We collect personal information that you provide directly when using the Services, such as:
- Name, email address, phone number
- Mailing address and résumé
- Profile details from linked social media accounts
- Interview recordings, transcripts, summaries, and feedback
- Call recordings, transcripts, summaries, and feedback
By submitting this information, you consent to its processing and acknowledge that it may be transferred to and stored in the United States.
Information Collected Automatically
We automatically collect information when you use the Services, including:
- IP address, browser type, and access times
- Page views and referring URLs
- Device and usage information
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see “Your Choices” below)
Log Information: We log information about your use of the Services, including the type of browser you use, access times, pages viewed, your IP address, and pages visited before navigating to the Services.
Information Collected by Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies: We use various technologies to collect information, and this may include sending cookies to your computer or mobile device. Cookies are small data files stored in device memory that help us to improve the Services and your experience, see which areas and features of the Services are popular, and count visits. If you connect your profile with your account on a social media site, we will have access to certain information from that site, such as your name or résumé information, in accordance with the authorization procedures determined by such social media site. We may also receive information about you from other users of the Services who share your contact information with us.

- Other users of the Services (e.g., interview invitations)

Retention of Information

If required by law, we will delete Personal Data by erasing it from our database. We will also respond to Visitors’ requests to delete or correct their account or Personal Data, which you can do by contacting Honeit at privacy@honeit.com.

To opt out of marketing emails, follow the unsubscribe link in any message or contact support@honeit.com.
Google Calendar API Disclosure
If you connect your Google calendar via OAuth2, Honeit only accesses your availability to schedule interviews and will not store any unrelated personal information. Honeit complies with Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
